At Willowpark, Reading is a really important part of our school day and we work hard with our children and families to develop a true passion and love for reading. To help us with that job, we have a team of dedicated Pupil Reading Councillors in our school.
Their role is to help foster our reading culture, be good role models for our 'reading everyday' expectation, hold pupil reading sessions each week in KS1 and EYFS classes and help to plan whole school activities such as organising book swaps and World Book Day. They do an amazing job!
